Eleutherococcus also called devil's root has been used in China for several thousand years. The Chinese Emperor Shen - nung claimed that it enabled a lame child to walk instantly. Its use as a substitute for ginseng has become of interest to the Western world in recent decades. In Siberia, it was traditionally used in the older past, as evidenced by the name "Siberian ginseng". The plant is mainly used for its root, although its other parts also contain active substances.

A characteristic group of bioactive components are the so-called eleutherosides, followed by carbohydrates including starches, essential oils, resins, pectins, anthocyanins and other substances. The alcohol extract of the plant strengthens the immune system.  It stimulates physical and mental strength in fatigue, exhaustion, convalescence and in the regeneration of strength. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal blood circulation and pressure.

Daily dose = after shaking 25 drops 3x a day.
