MycoMedica Reishi grows naturally (ganoderma) on decaying trunks and stumps, especially in coastal areas of China.
Compared to Reishi with 50% polysaccharides, this 30% Reishi is more suitable for long term imbalances.
Reishi (ganoderma) comes in six colour varieties, of which red is the most commonly grown. At present, the absolute majority of the world's production of shinbark comes from cultivation (e.g. 99% in Japan, similarly in China).
It was often used by Russian cosmonauts or Sherpas at high altitudes.
