DESCRIPTION: Dr. Popov comfrey ointment 50 ml

Comfrey ointment is a proven ointment for athletes and heavy-duty workers. It contains extracts from 4 medicinal plants, which soothe during massage of the musculoskeletal system. Ointment is excellent for rehabilitation and skin treatment for bruising.

The herbal base of the comfrey ointment is the Symphytum officinale. The ointment base is uncooked cleaned pork lard, which is extracted with hot steam. It has excellent cleansing properties, its composition reminiscent of human fat and a good carrier of medicinal substances contained in herbs. Comfrey ointment is enriched with true beeswax, which has excellent protective and moisturizing properties and increases the resulting ointment quality.

The effect of the comfrey in the ointment is enhanced by the unique composition of herbs: marigold, juniper and thyme. Comfrey has many medicinal substances: contains mucilages, steroid saponins, tannins, inulin, protein and vitamin B12. Leaves and especially flowering peaks of almonds contain allantoin - a substance that promotes wound healing and acts slightly anesthetically.

Comfrey medical is a perennial herb suitable for support in inflammatory diseases. Helps in cough and upper respiratory tract illness, heals burns and other skin injuries, promotes tissue regeneration and relieves joint inflammation. Root is used, sometimes a leaf.
